Marlee Rosenthal was born in 1995 and raised in Massachusetts. She was always creatively inclined,  but it wasn't until college that she began to explore fine arts in a technical manor. Through studying drawing, painting, printmaking, and fiber arts, Marlee began to use these crafts as vehicles for self expression.

Marlee draws inspiration from botanical prints, anatomical studies and surrealism. She feels a spiritual connection to nature, and draws and paints from life when possible. Some of her work is of a more personal nature, delving into the relationships between plants and humans. She uses this symbolism as a way to process her own personal battles with mental health, physical illness, as well as contemplations about life and death.

After graduating from Bridgewater State University in December 2017, she spent 5 months living in Haifa, Israel. It was here that she became part of a wonderful community of artists and musicians, and was exposed to a vibrant underground art scene. In the future, she hopes to open an art gallery of her own, where creatives can collaborate and use art to spread awareness about social issues and provide accessible art experiences to the public.
